Hi i need help picking out housing and was wondering if anyone(especially current students) can offer any advice. Im a male freshaman, engineering major and need a double room of decent size not too cramped and possibly a room where the beds are not bunked. I was thinking of Baits, Bursely and Cambridge. To be very frank its cos of the bathrooms. (im a little squeemish and a little worried) If you have any pro's /con's about the three please help. Also, any suggestions with reasons would be good!

Cambridge is the best of the three, but as of now I do not know a single freshmen who was able to be placed there. High demand with upperclassmen causes the dorm to be full fast, and I don't think they reserve any for incomming freshman.

The other two will probably be your future dorm, and yes, many freshmen do get placed there, but just know in advanced that living up on North Campus is not going to be too convenient. Baits and Bursley do not really have "private" bathrooms. Bursley has the big public restroom/shower, and while some Baits houses do have private bathrooms, most of them are shared amongst 2~4 rooms (4~8 people).

If you really want to choose among the three, choose Bursely (more convenient than Baits), but again, I would recommend living on Central.

I would say Couzens Hall would be best. The bus stops you want for the engineering school are at Couzens. (But Couzens is not in central, it is on the Hill Campus.)
