UMichigan Ross transfer

So I applied to Ross during freshman year of college, I am currently in a business school (BU business school) and just found out I got into Ross (would be a sophomore transfer), but I don’t hate my current school. I’m not super excited about going to my current school and don’t like several aspects of it but I did make really close friends and would hate to leave them considering they probably have no idea I even applied anywhere for transfer. I’m not sure what I should do because there’s a lot of factors that pull me in both directions. Do you think it would be worth it to leave my current school (which is solid) and friends and everything for the better name/opportunities that Ross offers?(in addition to the chance that I like going to UMich a lot better) Or should I continue to ride out my current school and do well and hope things get better? Leaning towards staying at my current school but transferring could be worth it

In all reality, it’s a judgement call. Ross might bring better chances than BU, but if you are attached to your friends you could become a little bit hateful towards Umich even though the social aspect is amazing and you will be able to make new friends very easily.

When someone words it like you did I would stay put. If there is a financial reason to change like Michigan is less expensive then maybe it would be worth the change. Look into both programs and your end goal and see what’s school’s program you like better.
