Hi so im a sophomore this year and I've been freaking about colleges lately. Im in the IB program take challenging courses. Im on a competitive sports team and part of SHS. Last year my overall grades were straight A's and 1 B+. This year though Ive gotten 4'bs and it doesn't look like its improving drastically for the first semester. lately i've been extremely busy because of all the practices sport requires but I cant quit because we are planning on winning states and it looks good on college application. I was wondering if I work insanely hard and get straight A's 2nd semester and strong grades the rest of my high school career would the 4B's I might get for this semester break my chances of getting into an Ivy league.
i know it may hurt me but still I want to know if it will make me become "unqualified".

For now you are on the track…come back at the end of junior with SAT scores and other stuff.

Its too early to predict, but the B’s dont help you in genera, although your GPA isnt everything, for instance, I have a 3.91 UW GPA(which is really good) but my standardized tests are nothing spectacular, meaning I probably wont be admitted to Ivies. Keep in mind that their admissions are 0-15% accepted out of the thousands of top high school students in not only the US, but the world.
