yes I had to send my citizenship for evaluation and it says its going to take 1-2 weeks processing
@sciencegeek1626: you will be fine. They process it quickly. Mine is nightmare.
@ScQuan what documents do you have to submit?
@sciencegeek1626 : IRS non filling verification letter. It take few weeks
are you OOS? the waiting is horrible
@ScQuan The problem that you are having is a common one. I did a quick google search and found a lot of student that are in the same situation. The will still have financial aid available when they receive your IRS letter. I would give the FA office a call. My financial aid package amount covers everything and also a free laptop.
@MuffinCups Are you aware what that 'Aid App but not yet admitted" message means?
@ScQuan in the same boat. Sent my form in the mail today.
@johnpfc3 I know what it’s SUPPOSED to mean, but no clue what it actually means. I just got off the phone with the advising office, I had my meeting today by phone. So I know I’m a student.
@uncletmein2017: Were their financial aid reduced because of late finish? Thank you for your info.
@MuffinCups Pardon my ignorance, but what is it supposed to mean?
@johnpfc3 Basically, it was on the account before you and I were accepted. It just means that they had received our application for aid, but hadn’t yet heard from the school if we were admitted as students. The issue is, now that we have been admitted, it should disappear… Except it hasn’t.
@MuffinCups Did you confirm that you were accepted? I tried to today but they wouldn’t tell me over the phone. I also got an acceptance on my portal and have been receiving emails welcoming me to UNC and asking me to sign up for different things (community standards, academic advising etc.). I’m assuming they’re just slow to update in that case?
@fugazinikka: My father will go directly to IRS office to get a non-filling letter. It will be faster than mail. You should try.
@ScQuan Wait really? You can just go to an office? I have to send both my parent’s tax transcript and and my own non-filing letter, and I was going to get them in the mail.
@ScQuan wow that’s actually a really good idea dude thank you!
does anyone know if there is admitted transfer student day?
Has anyone received their acceptance letter in the mail yet?
I do not think UNC sends out paper acceptance letter. They online do online email acceptance letters.
This might be a stupid question, but does anybody know if we have to pay our enrollment deposit before we can register for classes?
