I was accepted to both this year and have trouble deciding which to go to. I'm a resident of New York so I'm torn between exploration and familiarity. I'm also afraid that it'll be difficult for me to fit in at UNC since most students there are in-state. I'll be majoring in Business Administration (concentration in Marketing) at whichever one I go.

I’m from NY and one of my best friends is doing business at Baruch. He is staying in a single apartment in NY and absolutely LOVES Baruch. However, it is completely different from UNC. Like not even close. Baruch is a commuter city school while very few people at UNC commute, and Chapel Hill is not even comparable to NYC.

Baruch does have a very good business school, but I know UNC’s undergrad business program is consistently in the top 15.

And no, it’s definitely not hard to fit in here as an out of state student. :)
