University Housing Full..where to apply for summer housing?

Session A & D housing is full and I have been placed on the wait list.

Where do you guys suggest I apply for summer housing? From July 5- August 12

I would prefer somewhere near the RSF :)

Look for a sublet on Craigslist? There are probably still plenty of places available.

That’s nuts! But yeah, craigslist is actually pretty cheap because SO MANY people want to lease for the summer and I heard that girl had to pay $200 for her place even though she wasn’t there because her leaser didn’t want to pay that much. So you can definitely negotiate lol.

If you want a more social place to live though, try ihouse. I’m pretty sure they have space.

I’ll definitely try negotiating for a cheap apartment!

I don’t think Ihouse accomodates for incoming freshmen? Am I correct?

Sorry I forgot to mention that I was an incoming freshman.

Yeah it’s very common for people to have to eat $100 or so of their monthly rent just so they can find a sublet. Not sure about IHouse, perhaps email and ask? But they are significantly more expensive than finding an apt (and costs more than regular dorms) though.
