University of Illinois Transfer Question

Hey everyone,

I was wondering, I recently applied to Illinois for transfer and I have less than 30 credits. My question is do they put more emphasis on the high school record than they do on the college record when reviewing my app since I have less than 30 credits? The admissions counselour says they will look at my high school record, which wasn't bad, but wasn't great either. Just wondering does high school record have more wieght since Im under the 30 credit mark.

FYI: I don't go to Northwestern (username lol)

They will look at your highschool records regardless of you taking more or less than 30 credits. They probably will focus more on your college record since it is the most recent one.

They put a lot more weight on your high school transcript and test scores if you are applying with less than 30 graded credit hours at the time of application. Test scores are required if you have under 30, and if you are going to apply with 60 credits (junior standing) they do not review your high school transcript. The only thing they care about is your college transcript if you are a junior standing applicant.
