Hi everyone, I’m new to the site so sorry if this is in the wrong area or if any other mistakes are made.
I"m wondering if UL is the right college for me. I’d be paying in-state tuition (they have a waiver for OOS students, and it has the degree(s) I’m looking at. However I am from a conservative area (Oklahoma) and am looking for a change! Is UL too conservative? Is it a well-rounded college? What is the culture like? I’d love to go but am scared I’ll be surrounded by people I don’t enjoy being with.

I have visited Lafayette because family-friends live there, just not the college. You’re right, I should!
