There are lots of people who have received the UM decisions in the mail before canelink in past years.
Same like I’m not even excited anymore lol. I’m just gonna wait for whatever happens. 
i was reading on last year’s thread and i saw a few people say that they received their decision in the mail first, so who knows maybe there’s a possibility some people may receive their decision sin the mail tomorrow
After checking the initial e-mail I received after applying, I found this line: “Early Action admission is designed for students who are very serious about the University of Miami and who wish to be notified of their admission decision at an early date…Early Action admission notification will be mailed from our office in early February.”
Mailed from our office meaning that decisions will first be received through the mail rather than online?

You don’t think its programmed to come out at midnight or do we just forget about it until it’s out?
We just forget about it because it’s all added stress on us that we don’t need. We’re probably all stressed out enough with school.
Hey everyone! So my friend and I both applied to UM and her college counselor called them and she was told that they would be out tonight by 8. And that’s what my friend told me. I can’t see her college counselor making that up, but in truth who knows what will happen. Just wanted to let everyone know 
You know what’s pathetic? Miami’s RD comes out 1 month from now. It might as well not even be called early action. It’s terrible that they treat their “serious students” this way.
Last year, people started getting their acceptances as early as Wednesday. Maybe a new change in management could be the reason for the ineptitude and lack of transparency…
theres still hope

btw, it will be before Sat at 9.30. when the system goes down they are dumping the servers of the applications to free up memory. you will here something in the next 28 hours.
