@kbmonster lol, I’ve been deferred from Tulane, Boston College, and now UM… Waiting for my lucky break.
I’m still waiting for my decision but talked to a classmate today who was deferred. She implied that April 15th was too long to wait and that she would commit to an alternate. She’s afraid that she will lose housing priority in her alternate school if she waits on the UM’s decision date of April 15th. She indicated only a 20% acceptance rate on EA deferred students at UM so she is going to withdraw her application on Monday. Only a 1 in 5 chance for deferrals? Could that be true? Its sad because everyone of us who applied EA did so because we are planners and want to get “our ducks in a row” given the opportunity. Unfortunately, I don’t think UM sees this. Anyway, good luck to everyone!
If they don’t get posted at 8, I’ll give up.
If you guys check your communications, you may see that your decision has been mailed. I just checked my communications section and it says that my decision was mailed today.
u can click on that and view your decision^

It doesn’t say a specific time, but when I checked discerning they had not posted a decision yet.
Does anyone know if Miami denies early action applicants? I know some schools only differ or accept for early action.
@dp430dp what are your stats if you don’t mind sharing? Oops didn’t see you had already posted!
***this morning not discerning
Where are you from ^^^
Miami is a big reach for me. I have a 3.0 and a 28 act. I have a lot of extra curricular activities though.
Maryland
@dp430dp They rejected some EA applicants last year, they probably will reject EA applicants this year as well.
