I just called and the woman who answered said decisions are coming out “the first week in February”. Not very helpful but she seemed like she had answered that question a lot, and I was also on hold for 10 minutes.
Last year on 1/26 they responded to a tweet asking when EA decisions were coming out by saying “Not today but before the end of January.
Fortunately, Miami is not a Coalition school so there won’t be a fiasco like this past Friday for U of Maryland. It seemed like something was happening in the app around 5-6pm. Then the system crashed or got overwhelmed and my son didnt see his letter until almost 11pm. We spent hours watching the spinning blue donut of death in the browser. Literally almost went to sleep. :o ZzzZ
yeah that might be true because FedEx just sent me an email saying that University of Miami was going to ship a package to me on the first of February. However, I am an international student so that might differ with other people.
Im also curious to know if UM sends any packages/mail for rejections.
@mileshaley5 NE or Philly tho? (Who do you want)
They then released them that afternoon.
@ProllyBrokeSoon there isn’t something wrong with me so Philly of course
@mileshaley5 same
Just checked canelink. Nothing
Weird how different people are saying that admissions people told them different dates
Oh well, it seems today is not the day
Screw this uncertainty BS. Just give us a date and time
I applied to a bunch of state schools like uva michigan florida wisconsin
I just called the admissions rep for DC, MD, and VA to check on my application and she said that they will be released Early Feb. So I am just going to go with that.
Guys it’s going to be released any moment now! I guarantee it. Proof? I just got email confirmation of my acceptance package being shipped to me. Since I live abroad, FedEx notifies me. Good luck to everybody!
Yeah but they could just be giving the package time to deliver so you won’t be waiting for it for too too long after they email you
Good for you, man. I’m a product of those big state schools (U-Mich 87) and wouldn’t trade the experience. We’re now waiting on my son’s acceptances and it’s bringing back memories. GO Blue!
And best of luck to everyone. FWIW, I believe everyone ends up where they belong. Godspeed!
So… is it coming out today or not? I’m getting mixed signals here.
Hey all, I am an international student and just received an email from FedEx telling me a package from UMiami is arriving home soon. Does that mean I got in?
