I’m wondering what you decided. Did you stick with UM in the spring?
I really waned to attend Umiami but unfortunately it was too expensive for my parents. I committed to the University of Florida instead. While I’m disappointed about giving up my spot at Miami, I’m excited for UF!

I’m curious what the stats are for those who were invited into the Foote Fellows program. It seems random to me but maybe I’m missing something.

If you appreciate the cohort and extra attention, etc. then it’s great.
They are “differentiators” for the school to want you to choose them.
Chances are, you got into “higher” ranked schools - and this is Miami’s effort to steer you to them - money and special programming.
Especially Da Vinci - read the description - it wasn’t for my daughter so had she enrolled (she didn’t), she would have declined that program. But some may love it.
