<p>Hey everyone! I applied EA too and am anxiously waiting a decision like the rest of you. UMiami is my top choice school too.

<p>@nb0717 historically, UM doesn’t do email for the bulk of decisions and keeps it to cane link and snail mail…I live in South Florida and received nothing (as its been said they haven’t mailed anything) but who know with UM. Theres no update on the social networking sites of the school and I emailed my Rep with no response, so my guess is as good as anybody else’s. </p>

<p>I couldn’t agree more with @ever08 , this process has been ridiculous since the beginning. I sent my SAT scores through College Board 4 times and twice by faxing it through my school (WITH TWO CONFIRMATIONS THAT THEY WERE RECEIVED) only to later find out that they “had not received them yet” in late January. Now, some RD schools have already admitted their students while UM has not even given us a set date for EA. I spoke with my school’s rep last week and was told tonight. If it fails to be uploaded tonight, I will be extremely disappointed. This whole process has already dumped UM down from one of my top choices to near the bottom of the 16 schools that I applied to. <p>My guess is that they did just upload them to CaneLink, but that it will indeed take a few days to process…UM uses the same system as several other schools I applied to, and they all wheeled the same way CaneLink just did when my decision was finally available.</p>
