University of Miami Official Class of 2018 EA Results

We’ve been waiting since November, 1 or 2 more days isn’t nothin.

To continue that rant, I applied October 15, and met with my rep personally. Not once has he returned a phone call, voicemail, or email about my questions and numerous issues with the school (and UM only) getting stuff from my school… The automated message I got back tonight was the closest response. Numerous times I have called the main office to get “technical issues” and honestly I am so unimpressed with a well known and expensive top university. IVY league admissions reps get back to you within the hour, it looks good and preserves the integrity of the school. If anyone ends up at UM, seriously meet with the Admissions Office to work on this. This is insane and so many hardworking applicants are getting played with.

It is when all of your dreams are centered around this school. and you have other selective schools to notify if you’re going or not

After getting a blizzard today, a decision from a school in summer temps would’ve been a relief.

Agreed @yiselx103 , especially when they have such a long period of time between the application deadline and where we are now. And @ever08 , I feel your pain, I live in Miami and really wanted to stay here but I do not really see that happening anymore because my opinion about the school has really changed.

That’s the problem, you shouldn’t get fixated on one school. Especially a school that costs $61,000 and has a 39% acceptance rate. Have a dream life, not a dream school.

where in canelink would we find our decision?

@loljk1123 It should be posted below your personal information.

not coming out tonight i suppose, starting to really despise UM in some ways

does everyone have program advisor on the right side in the student center?

it says program advisor and then “not assigned” underneath it

i do but it says “none assigned”

@nikeknocked, no one should have a program adviser as of right now. I’ve heard from an accepted ED applicant that they don’t even have an adviser… I wouldn’t expect one til the summer…

@nikeknocked you have a person assigned already?

@minccino I’m asking if everyone has that box

@nikeknocked Yup, everyone should have it.

So let’s just say we’ll all know but Saturday…

by*

So a Singer invitation means we’re in?

Yea
