Note that if they can move from the regular Friday schedule to Wednesday, they can also change the time to start the announcement too. In any case, they are NOT going to send out all notice at the same time. My D1 waited for hours after her friends received theirs a few years ago.
@WolverineDream nope, they’ll reject people too
@Dreamz25 Admissions usually won’t ever confirm anything specific about decision releases, even on the day of. They just tend to reiterate “by Dec 24th” in the weeks leading up to it, but they never have an announcement.
someone should call the office
@billybobby54 they won’t tell you anything
I bet the office will keep restating “by the 24th.” Good luck, everyone! Would seem pretty likely they’re out at 2 CST.
Good luck to everybody - minus one - so that there is room for me.
This anticipation anxiety is like when going to ask the prettiest girl at school to the prom. Sure, you have a chance, but in reality she’s most likely going to tell you to keep begging - “I like to here you tell me how pretty you think I am” (i.e, you’re deferred, now jump through another hoop and send me that letter of continued interest, chump!)
@KES2022 great analogy
The suspense continues…good luck everyone!
I called- they said “by the 24th everyone will receive a decision” blah blah BUT then they said “they will be coming shortly” pretty sure they are coming today
@umichhello doing god’s work
Boys and girls this is judgment day. I wish you all the best of luck and hopefully me too because I really need this rn
what can i say, i serve the people
Already got deferred this week from Georgetown, don’t think I can handle another deferal, especially because Michigan is by far my #1 , good luck everyone!!!
If anyone is looking for a strategy for coping with anxiety, I would not recommend drinking three cups of coffee. Contrary to popular belief, caffeine does not have a calming effect on your nerves (:
If we get deferred, when do we hear back for RD?
@ ericacv we hear back early April
Ok so for sure they already let out a few decisions but are they releasing the rest all at once or are they taking their time. Also, is it better if u havent heard back yet since they release deferrals earlier?
A poem for Umich:
Release you god damn decisions
Before I have a brain aneurysm
At least let me know what day
So I know when I’ll need to snap my vertebrae
