decisions seem to be coming out rapid fire now. Got me all nervous.
when will the engineers hear back?
well I was denied today so that sucks. But my advisor at my current school, who used to work in admissions at Michigan, always said fall 2017 was my real best shot at applying because I would be a junior. Although I seemingly got a more personalized denial letter than last time which is kind of cool. Also I can confirm that if you’re denied it does not show up in wolverine access. I have no “view decision” link I only got the email.

The counselor I talked to said that a decision would show up online about 24 hours after receiving an email.
@historyrepeat @bluebel57 Oh no I’m so sorry. I was really hoping both of you would get in. I don’t think I have a chance anymore. Will you both be applying for the fall?
@jessaw6 yes I will be applying in the fall. I was pretty prepared for this considering I wasn’t a junior I had already started my application for the fall lol
@historyrepeat good to hear! I’ll probably be reapplying there with you. When you got the email, were they specific on what you needed to improve on or anything like that?

@jessaw6 when I applied in the fall before I got a pretty generic letter. This one was totally different. Telling me that my “academic work was impressive and noted on my evaluation” and stuff like that but really emphasized the fact that I don’t have enough credits to qualify as a junior so my high school grades were a consideration.
Just got accepted about 2 hrs ago to LSA! Good luck everyone, it’s worth the wait.

I just got accepted this morning! I cannot believe this. I don’t know when they updated because I checked around 10pm last night and nothing was there. Good luck to everyone else still waiting. I hope the decisions come out quicker now!
@historyrepeat Thanks for the info. I’m glad they actually gave you a reason so you have something to work towards. I genuinely hope you have enough credits for the fall semester. You seem like you would be a perfect candidate!

wait guys, where do you even see the status if you got a decision?
@Andyboy112 if you click on the application status link on Wolverine Access, the next page will show 3 links on the bottom: View Application Data, View Credentials, then View Decision. The last link will obviously show up after there’s been a decision but there’s a blank spot there until then.
@jessaw6 congrats!! If you don’t mind could you post the date you submitted as well as ur stats and stuff, I would really appreciate it

Did anyone else apply to other Engineering schools? I applied to Ga Tech for AE and got in.
@trippyturtle Thanks! Of course. I submitted my app on 8/3 and everything was received by 9/19. I asked if it was completed and got a response on 9/29 saying it was marked complete. Graduated HS 2011 with 3.8 GPA. Went from one university in Ohio to another in Missouri, then finally completed with my Associates at a CC in Ohio in May this year. Had 4.0 is last two semester at the CC. The previous were consistently 3.5 to 3.9-ish. I have a ton of credits from school to school. So roughly 70 and I think around 60 will actually transfer to classes at Umich. I’ve gotten a lot of my electives and core classes out of the way which I think really looks good for a transfer since they have someone who can jump right in.
