Next time I visit my son on campus I will have to check that out.
Meet you there!
Ya, I didn’t know that graffiti alley existed either. The IM is beautiful, my only complaint is that they don’t allow the use of chalk in the barbells and plates area. The place is just too immaculate.
Does anyone know when deferred students hear back? Or have any estimate or guess?
Feb 1st the fun starts… For OOS. Think a bit sooner for instate
You call this fun??
@BigRoundDad Thanks!
@Knowsstuff Thanks! The graffiti walls were in graffiti alley. Definitely check it out if you ever visit Ann Arbor.
Eh, you’ll look back on it and say “what an adventure it was.” <:-P
@apr2000 next time I come to Detroit to visit my family and drop by to see my son at Michigan… Thx…
Hey everyone,
I applied early action but got deferred, however, only received an email to set up a portal a week ago. For early action, they didn’t send out an email to set up a portal, and my results were sent to my email instead. Why’s that?
My DD got an email about her portal a few weeks after completing her app for EA. It was hidden in her spam folder. She didn’t see it in time. Stuff in the spam folder get deleted automatically after a week. She had to contact the help desk to get portal access.
She was informed of her EA decision via email and portal.
After you are deferred, there is no differentiation between your application and an RD application. You are deferred to the RD round. There is no special time when deferred applicants learn their final status. It can be any time between February and April.
@apr2000, great video! Thanks for sharing.
Maybe the materials (transcripts, test scores, letter of recommendations) didn’t get there before the deadline. You can check the date they received it under the Application Status section, just click on the View Credentials link.
Check your spam folder also. Lots of students notices went there initially.
