Sent letter of interest last week, didn’t send midyear grades yet. Michigan is still very high on my list, but I’m also visiting UNC soon so I might have some tough decisions to make in a few months. Good luck to everyone still waiting to hear back, and congratulations to those of you who were accepted!!
Accepted into LSA!!!
GPA: 3.9 UW, 4.2 W

OOS (CA)
Sent my mid-year grades when they were released in early January as well as a formal letter of continued interest to the admission office.
Accepted into LSA from CA.

GPA(unweighted): 3.8
ACT: 32
SAT Subject: 780 Math. 680 Chemistry.
Sent letter of interest as well as my midyear report.
Good luck to the rest of you guys!
@Analogys I think your guidance counselor gave you bad advice. They look for that letter of interest. They don’t want to admit someone who’s not coming. I would send a letter of interest right away.
The hours that it does not operate (probably to fix bugs or anything) are between 4:00 A.M. and 6:00 A.M. (Monday through Friday I believe). It’s going to open up soon (assuming that ten thousand people logging it and it crashes). Best of luck!
@desie1 I’m going to start working on my letter of interest now. How long should it be? What should it include? This is the first time I ever wrote one and I have never seen one before… D:
I’M IN!!! WA just opened again at 6!!! In-state student. Deferred initially - sent letter of continued interest and maintained contact with regional counselor for quite some time (only when relevant). Also - we had a phone call discussing schedule changes (I made my senior year harder for them) and then just conversed generally about academics and extracurriculars.
Mid-year report in no way reached them, was supposed to be sent out on the 8th.
There is hope everyone… I was accepted with a below average ACT (29) and a 3.9 UW. My letter of intent was rather good, and I exchanged a few conversations with my regional counselor to build a relationship. You can do it!
