@tripgirl @GoingBlue2018 Do you know which school they got accepted into? Stamps? LSA? I know some people got into Stamps yesterday.
Wait, people have gotten rejections already?
So does that mean there was a wave for LSA yesterday
@csekar15 LSA
She was accepted through email not portal
She was accepted but as a transfer! my bad
Okay, then that’s different than the deferred list of applicants.
So I had a good mid-year transcript (4.36) and called the admissions office about the LOCI and they said they did not need it. She said she would note that I still showed interest in the University. Should I have sent in an LOCI? And if so is there any chance I get in without one?
We didn’t qualify for financial aid but when I clicked the “View Financial Aid Document Status”, it lists Aid Year 2019. Should it be 2018 instead?
@patiencepls i got the same thing. Any idea what is this means ???
same, 2019 financial aid year
so there’s really no possibility of decisions today at 3?
Wannaknow2022… There is always possibility but just not the likely hood of it happening.
When you sent your grades and what is your grades status now on your portal?
I am gonna be honest. This entire deferral thing with no specific date of release just makes me not want to go there anymore. It used to be my top top top choice.
The admissions are definitely laughing at us ■■■■■■■■ impatient students when they are reading the threads.
Is it weird that my “view decision” tab hasn’t been there for a couple months? I was one of the people who had a delayed decision when they initially came out, and I couldn’t see my decision until like 3 days later. Now it’s just been gone since mid january.
2019 refers to school year 18-19 for financial aid reference.
Did you file a FAFSA and indicate UM? If yes, this is likely their recognition that it has been received and matched to your UM ID.
2019 Financial aid year is for 2018-2019 academic year.
@jdyounglegend They told you the admission result of RD will be out by early April just like many other RD schools. It may come out earlier which you should treat it as a bonus when that happens. Most other RD schools would not have any admission result until mid March. EA has been long over and you were not accepted and therefore deferred to RD. Now you are just treated like any other RD that has submitted their application by 2/1. Deferral has no priority over other RD and it is not an extended EA review.
