@DCNatFan my daughter’s buttons changed on Monday the 17th, and we just got the email about two hours ago. I was definitely getting nervous! She’s in to the Swanson School of Engineering!
Is anyone having trouble with the video? It’s not opening and just keeps trying to load. We’ve tried it in chrome, IE, Firefox and safari lol
@allieandjoe D19 video loaded slowly but we were able to load it
I applied to the Swanson School of Engineering on 8/7 and the buttons changed on 9/15. Got an email a few days later (9/17) and received a letter today! Very excited!!
My buttons changed on Tuesday. I got the email around 3pm today. The video attached was so good. No letter yet, but I think I am ready to accept this weekend. So excited! Good luck all! H2P Nursing Class of 2023
@Homedayton - Congrats. My D applied on 09/11/2018 via common app for Nursing and so far we got a email regarding filling out SPAR, which we did last night. I am hoping to hear something next week. Do you mind sharing your stats?
Yes! I had a 4.0 weighted GPA and a 30 ACT with a lot of volunteer (400 + hours) experience and a lot extracurricular activities. Very best of luck to your D.
I applied on 9/17 to the School of Computing and Information for Computer Science through the Pitt application. I checked the app today on 9/22, and my buttons have changed (not sure when, I hadn’t checked in a couple days). I’m waiting for my email, hopefully next week.

i applied on 9/10 and i haven’t received anything yet. My buttons on the app have not changed. It keeps saying “you do not have any pending applications at this time”. Will they still send me an email if i got declined or do the buttons not changed if i got declined?
Congrats everyone!
I applied 8/12 to the School of Computing and Information. I just recently got my acceptance video yesterday and I’m still waiting on the letter in the mail.

@Senior_1999 , just logged on and saw your posts! Congratulations to your son!!
Old news, but to address your husband’s skepticism, why would a student receive buttons to accept or decline if they weren’t accepted to begin with? See what I mean?
@Winky1 This was one of rhe best occasions to tell him “I told you so “.
Thanks for responding and so glad he got good news .
Okay I was wondering if anyone reading this thread could tell me if they have a normal average (GPA) such as a 90-95, because I see a lot of people with amazing overperforming averages 100+, which only about the first two top people in my class have.
I just got my email today! The video is very personal and just fantastic to see!
Congratulations to anyone else who has also been admitted, and good luck to everyone still going through the admissions process! I’m hoping to hear from the Honors College soon.
A friend’s child received small, thin envelope today from Pitt. Not home to open it and my friend is in agony. Does small, thin envelope mean rejection?
