The weirdest thing about PITT is that on the two portals it only shows the Application is complete, but weve gotten the Email and the packet that she is accepted. Nothing every changed in the portal.
@ZeeMeZeeYou, Could you please call our office about that so we can make sure your portal gets updated? You can reach us at 412-624-7488.

@hailtopitt1787 Thanks I will. Also want to shout out to Kim (one of the Ambassadors on Twitter at @H2Pkim who got right back to me on Admitted Student days! Question accepted on 10/29 would I qualify for a merit scholarship and when would I hear? Thank anyone that had a hand in admittance, applied because I grew up loving Mr. Rogers and if it was fine with him I knew it was a place I could fit in and thrive.
@ZeeMeZeeYou, Kim is amazing! So glad she was able to help you.
Yes, anyone who applies before December 15 is automatically reviewed for scholarships. That is a rolling process. Scholarship letters go out weekly October-February. The latest someone would hear back about a scholarship is March 1.
Good luck!

@ZeeMeZeeYou, I was talking to some of my colleagues about your issues with the PS Mobile portal and they made a good point - you can actually start with our Technology Help Desk. There is a good chance they will be able to resolve your problem- and they are available to assist you 24/7 through a variety of channels. I would encourage you to start there: https://www.technology.pitt.edu/247-it-help-desk

@hailtopitt1787 NEVER did the mobile App… had the admissions page (the page that keeps track of the Application) and then the page that was set up when you issued the "“A” Number around 10 days AFTER the application was completed, which has lots of buttons and clickable things, but still the only place that has had a button to commit is the Email that has the video for acceptance (that was nice by the way)…part of this is not knowing what is normal at the site, and likely only applying to three schools so not sure what to look for.
@ZeeMeZeeYou, Sorry for the confusion. The Mobile App and that Admissions page you are referring to are the same thing - they both lead to PS Mobile (which is our applicant portal). The Technology Help Desk will happily help you troubleshoot and understand what to look for there. I do encourage you to reach out to them. They have a chat service at the link I gave you above.

@hailtopitt1787 I too have a similar issue. Got the “A” number and received the acceptance via video in email and also via regular mail. But when I log into the portal, it just says application is complete. Kindly advise.
Please contact our Technology Help Desk to start, @ppxyz123. They should be able to work with you to resolve the problem and they are available 24/7 via phone, chat, etc. technology.pitt.edu
Let me know if there is anything else I can assist you with!

@hailtopitt1787 I had already chatted with them but they said they can only fix login issues and not updates to the portal.
@ppxyz123, Then please do call our office - 412-624-7488. We will be happy to assist you!

My daughter has the same thing - she received email acceptance & received her letter, but there is no change on the portal; it just says “The application is Complete.” Should it show something else?
@DumDeeDummm, It should give you the option to Accept/Decline Admission!

A Pitt Admissions Staffer
Hmm… it doesn’t. Should she contact admissions or the technology desk? Thanks for your help!
My son’s mobile app’s accept/decline buttons showed up on Thursday, but the my.pitt.edu admission status just says “This application is complete” and he has not received email or letter. I know people have said that email comes a few days later, but should the accept/decline buttons be on both?
@mbjq10, “This application is complete” just means that we have all of the application materials and the application is ready to be reviewed. It does not mean that an admissions decision has been made. We will contact you via email/letter about an admissions decision.
Good luck!

Hello!
If you are having issues finding the accept/decline buttons in your PS Mobile app (@ZeeMeZeeYou, @ppxyz123, and anyone else) could you please try following this link and completing the steps listed there: oafa.pitt.edu/commit
If you can see the Accept/Decline buttons there, you should be good to go!
If you are still experiencing difficulties, please DM me so I can get more information and help you troubleshoot.

I applied through common app October 30th and my buttons showed up today!!!
Thank you @hailtopitt1787 , but why is the mobile app now showing the accept/decline admission decision options but the computer log in hasn’t changed?
