So DS’s buttons changed over a week ago, now when he clicks the buttons, the screen is there to accept/decline admission…but he’s received no email that he’s been admitted. Still hoping this is a good sign!
what is the current time frame for decisions after applying
Hello @collegenervous21,
You should hear back from the Admissions Committee within 4-6 weeks after completing your application.
Good luck!

Pitt asked for updated SAT scores on 11/3 because I noted that I will be taking the Dec SAT (which I sent directly after the exam). I feel fairly confident that my score went up a good amount with this test due to excessive studying (hopefully if the curve isn’t brutal). Was anyone else asked to send updated Scores and was soon after accepted?
Also is this a good sign that other factors of my application are up to par besides my SAT Score since its not an automatic rejection? I’ve taken 6 AP’s with a crazy upward trend in GPA since freshman year and I’ve also been in contact with my local rep and visited back in August. Feedback would be appreciated from anyone!
D accepted last week to Dietrich EA.
Are merit money and Honors decisions issued at same time? When will she hear these results? Thanks.
Merit scholarships will be announced on or before March 1.
If you applied by November 1, Pitt Honors will make decisions on or before January 12. If you applied after November 1, Pitt Honors will make decisions on or before March 1.
Hope this helps!

My son received his admission email shortly before Thanksgiving break (he had applied before Nov 1). He has not received anything in the postal mail yet. Does Pitt send out an acceptance package in the postal mail, and any idea of time frame?
If mid year grades were requested, but I applied September 18th:
-Will my early application be taken account at all when making the final decision?
-Would I still be considered for scholarship?
Thank you
Answer to my own previous question (see 2 posts above): A letter from Pitt with scholarship information arrived today. The admission e-mail was sent prior to Thanksgiving, so about after 3 weeks to reach. In case someone is waiting for mail to arrive.
Hi @G_2019LAG,
Yes, your submission date is still early and will be considered for scholarships. When mid-year grades are requested, our Admissions Committee just needs to learn a little bit more about your academic status to make a decision.
I hope this helps, good luck!

@hailtopitt1787 Hello. I submitted my application on November 1. Should I expect a decision by the end of the week?
Thank you.
Hi @FSMAtothechip,
It would be safe to assume your decision will be coming soon! If you don’t hear from us by the end of the week, I recommend contacting your territory manager to check on the status of your application. https://oafa.pitt.edu/esm_directory.php
Good luck!

@hailtopitt1787 Was accepted on 10/29 but still havent heard back for Merit Scholarship (Psychology) is this unusual?
Thanks!
Hello @ZeeMeZeeYou
Congrats on your acceptance!
This is not unusual since the application deadline to be considered for merit scholarships is on December 15. All recipients will be notified on or before March 1.
I hope this helps and good luck!

I submitted my application to Dietrich School of Arts and Sciences in late October, and I did not fill out my SRAR until a few days after submitting on Common App. I was just wondering approximately when I should hear back?
Hello @random2525
It typically takes 4-6 weeks to process your application but without the SRAR it could take a little bit longer. Have you confirmed with your territory manager that they received your SRAR? I recommend reaching out to them to verify and they will be able to give you an update on the status of your application. https://oafa.pitt.edu/esm_directory.php
Good luck!

@hailtopitt1787 Hi, How long does it take to receive the request from Upitt asking to submit supplemental information in support of the candidacy for the School of Medicine GAP program after receiving UPitt undergraduate acceptance notification assuming one is selected (eligible to apply) for the GAP ? Thanks!
Hello @al1923
It usually takes 2-4 weeks after receiving your admission letter to be notified if you are selected to continue the GAP review process. Please note that only those that are being considered for review will be notified. Good luck!

Has anyone heard back about the Pharmacy GAP? I am just curious as I haven’t seen anyone post about it.
@hailtopitt1787 Not really, but you are trying your best, and im thankful that you are active on the thread helping people with solid things to say. It makes for a less stressed out thread if there is a steady influence.
