Does anybody know when EA decisions will be sent out?
no idea… still waiting to hear.
I think starting dec 15
Do they send them out Rolling starting mid-Dec or will there be one big release?
According to son’s portal, “decision notification begins in mid-December.” So, based on that wording it seems like they will roll the decisions out as they make them.
Last year they started rolling out on December 13th.
Scranton Twitter this morning…
“Today’s the day! We’ll start to release Early Action decisions later this afternoon to view on your application Status Page. Keep an eye on the mailbox, too!”
Just got accepted! 21k merit scholarship!
accepted w 25k in merit aid! did anyone hear about any honors program like sjla?
son accepted w 17k merit
Accepted with 19k Scholarship!!
This is kinda a weird question but does anyone know if the Dean’s scholarships are one consistent amount or if they’re different depending on the student?
S accepted with 21k merit
Accepted with 25k scholarship, now im waiting for something in the mail…
My daughter was deferred and asked to schedule and interview so they can make their decision. She applied to Nursing, 3.8 UW GPA, shadowing, lots of volunteer work and other extra curricular. Anyone else apply to nursing and get accepted? If so what were your stats?
@KMLparent Have her do the interview! Although not for nursing they asked my daughter for one and she was accepted to the school. Her GPA is similar to your daughters, no sat or act taken. She had only 1 AP because her school doesn’t offer them so honors classes only.
Has anyone received their packet in the mail yet? Does anyone know the GPA needed to keep the scholarships?
I just got my letter in the mail.
I believe that you need to maintain a 3.25 gpa for the Presidential and Dean’s and a 3.0 for Loyola and a 2.5 for an Arrupe Award.
2.5 for Faber award of 18.5k. IMO very doable even if you have a rough transition to college.
Has anyone heard anything about honors programs (specifically SJLA or Magis)? I know someone already asked but I thought I’d bring it up again.
I’m pretty sure the SJLA stuff goes out later- I remember getting my letter in February. Of course, the application cycle could also be different this year with all the disruptions with COVID, but I wouldn’t worry about not having a letter in hand for that yet.
