@yonibaloni looked at unofficial transcript
@mickyrivera I have submitted on 15th so I don’t think it matters when you apply.
3.4 GPA out of state volunteer hours and 5years of experience in construction.
@Nazz when I check my unofficial transcript it just shows UW Bothell, should I email admissions about it? I was told by UW Bothell I could cancel my admission if UW Seattle sent something but I’m not sure about it now.
How you guys are checking the unofficial transcript?
@kisameHoshigaki in my uw click academics then under grades and transcripts click unofficial transcript
@yonibaloni thank you
Hey guys, what exactly should I be seeing under Unofficial Transcript if I got in?
Someone said they want to get everything out by May 29 and it’s almost time… ughh :V
I believe you should see like your major or something. If it says something like “The Student Personal Services are available to current and former UW students (enrolled since 1983)” then it means that they have not gotten around to updating your portal yet. I am still waiting to hear back and it is so frustrating! Hopefully they just drop all of them tomorrow. @LilacSoul
Awe. Got it, thanks. @jorgegzuniga and yeah. I’m crossing my fingers for tomorrow.
I don’t know if this will help anyone, but I applied for general admission last fall and I was accepted (got the envelope like May 5th 2018), but I declined because I was very ill. I reapplied this year and I’m still waiting on a decision. I had/have 110+ transfer credit hours and and an AA degree already, from a school in California. I was and still am a WA resident in Seattle who has been attending classes at Seattle Central College nearly full time, and I have worked for two VERY respected American companies since I got my AA degree (I’m 29 years old).
Like I said, I currently haven’t gotten a decision and my transcripts aren’t loaded up on MyUW. I know getting an offer last year doesn’t guarentee anything this year, but I did explain that I was sick in my 2019 personal statement, and that’s the only reason why I declined last year’s offer.
I think UW may be going through the stack in order of submission. Can anyone back this up? I applied this year minutes before the deadline, but before the extension due to the snowpocalypse.
My second pick major doesn’t offer admission until a workshop next month (design), so that’s another possibility.
It’s just annoying because I can’t take any more classes anywhere if I’m not accepted. I have completed everything I can at a CC. If I’m not accepted to UW I’m not moving to another city for school, and I’m not paying for any of these private schools in Seattle that cost 3 or 4 times as much money.
Basically if they don’t accept me, I apply next quarter. If that fails then I guess I’m not getting my bachleors degree and it’s a trade school for me.
Any Communication students got anything back? Hope not just me still waiting.
Unrelated to my post above:
Has anyone gotten their physical envelope in the mail before they are notified electronically (or before the transcripts load on MyUW)?
I think people were saying a couple pages earlier in this thread that their decision date isn’t contingent upon their apply date. It might be by major. @Doorido
@Kmsun58 I’m still waiting too )-:
@Doorido you might be right! I submitted my app on Feb 3rd and haven’t heard back yet
I actually found out that I got into UW through my portal. After a couple of days, the golden envelope came in the mail. Just keep checking your portal!! @Doorido
so hopefully we’ll be hearing back by tmrw?
@lizzzzzz let’s hope ??
For admitted students, can you provide the A&O session date? I have not heard back from UW, however, I want to go back to my hometown during summer and I am considering when to come back. Since the A&O session is required before registration, it will be nice to know when will it be held. Congrats for those people who are admitted to UWS! and Good luck to all of you who are still waiting for the results! (hope we hear back soon)
@kmsun58 I applied for communication and haven’t heard anything at all
If I don’t get a notification tomorrow, I’ll have have to pay the deposit for another university. Good luck everyone, and hopefully they send a wave of results (if not all) in the next few hours.
