While we wait, anyone wanna share their backup plans if they don’t get into UW?
I’m from CA, I got into UCSB and gave them my SIR already. I’m also on the waitlist for Berkeley which is my first choice.
I go to UCSB atm, so I’m gonna stay if I don’t get into UW
How did you like it at UCSB? Was your plan to transfer to UW because you didn’t like it there? @Adg227
I love UCSB but I would rather be home in Seattle. That’s my main reason to transfer
considering UC Davis and UC San Diego so i guess i will submit my SIR to Davis if UW doesn’t send out more decisions today.
If I was able to apply for UW housing does that mean I got accepted?
trying to decide between UC Santa Barbara and UC San Diego. Visiting both right now and got to make a decison on Saturday (June 1st). If I get into UW I’m going most definitely.
@Adg227 how’s it there for you? I’m kind of intimidated by the IV party culture. UCSB and UCSD are polar opposites even though they are both beach.

i’m currently at UCSB waiting to hear back from UW. @Roomba6576 @LilacSoul i definitely would recommend UCSB. IV is crazy but lit and the people are all super nice. it’s a very cool vibe and my friends that go to UCSD don’t like it
I visited UCSB and live near UCSD and have a sister that attends UCSD. I definitely like UCSB a lot more. The hard part will be choosing between UW and UCSB (assuming I don’t get into UCB and do get into UW). I think UW is better for my major (Stats) but it’s also more expensive to go OOS.
Honestly if you don’t like partying you don’t really notice the party culture. I usually just do stuff with my friends. I really like it here even though I don’t party
Hi, does anyone know how many students applied to Foster and how many get admitted to Foster for Fall 2019 ?
@ajcash @LilacSoul Sociology major but I applied to UW in Education bc that’s what I want to pursue. UCSD is offering an education major in the fall and I could switch majors. UCSB only offers the minor in education. Not sure yet…gotta compare both visits
I was admitted last Thursday or maybe even Wednesday (I didn’t check) as an Anthropology major - instate student. Junior level, all pre reqs completed.

Has anyone who is a non resident or psych major heard anything recently? I’m from CA living in Seattle and applied as a non-resident and am still waiting for a response.
@mannah I live in california and applied for psychology, nothing yet 
@LilacSoul he’s my boyfriend! he got a 4.0 in all of his pre-reqs, overall GPA 3.71, and a very high upward trend.
