It sounds like each College/major is reviewing and releasing decisions simultaneously? On the bright side, June is coming up which means we’ll definifely hear back in the next four weeks lol.
@LeonorC Yeah, but it kinda sucks that while some applicants get notified of their acceptance to both the major and general admission quite early, others are still waiting for general admission or, worse, any news at all. (This is just the suspense talking)

Has anyone been accepted to the school after being accepted to their program? I got accepted into my program back in April, but I am still waiting for my acceptance to the school. I don’t really understand how students can get accepted to the program, but not to the school. Anyone here in the same boat ?
@Nimbob When I went to the Transfer Thursday session, the advisor said that for some majors the admissions department waits for the department’s approval before offering admissions themselves. They are seeing if your credits satisfy the prerequisites for the major, probably because there’s no time and class space to take it after transferring. I believe they also check if the classes you took were difficult and how well you did in those classes that are major related.
I think it will take longer for competitive and capacity constrained majors. But a lot of business majors have already heard back so idek. To be fair the business majors also heard back early in the last two years, so maybe they prioritize the Foster school and then the rest is by department?

100%! I was so ecstatic when I got the email that I got into the program and then i read that I still have to wait to be accepted into UW. The suspense is killing me!

Uws is a separate application, however the admissions rate for uwt is substantially higher than uws. For in state students, uwt accepts nearly everyone…sorry but if you got rejected from uwt then you’re pretty much rejected from uws. I go to uw and I’ve never heard for anyone getting into uws but not uwt, ever.

Hey guys - I am also waiting to hear back from UWS. I got into UWB and had to confirm enrollment there and pay a deposit because UWS is taking so long. I was accepted into my major which is Public Health at UW Seattle. Has anyone had or heard of any experience of people getting accepted to a competitive/capacity constrained major and be rejected from GA?
