@BellaGa , are you a Washington CC transfer? It seems that they are going through in state community colleges today! I do think that if your transcript loads, it means that you are in their system as a UW student. Congrats if this is true! It looks to be true for past students.

My unofficial transcript just loaded and I have the option to accept an admission offer! Yay!! Couldn’t be more excited. I’m from an in-state CC and applied with 50 credits originally (sent an updated transcript after winter quarter so that went up to 65) and have an 3.83 GPA. I applied with communication as my first choice major so I was admitted into “pre social science”. Awesome. Congrats to everyone else who got in today too!

If anyone here is discouraged about your prospects based on the stats so far, FWIW, estimating my GPA (at the end of fall quarter) at 3.1-3.3 would be generous. WSU estimated it at 2.9 before adding my fall quarter grades. I’m an EEC biology major (so pre-Arts and Sciences) transferring from a WA CC. I had an upward trend but from a couple of Cs and Ds mixed with As to mostly Bs and As, not to a 4.0 or anything. No extra-curriculars or volunteer experience. I wrote a killer essay about personal perseverance and passion for my major and the school. So don’t lose hope!

Has anyone who’s applied for International Relations heard back yet? I’m transferring from out of state and am trying to plan for the year (as I imagine many of you are as well).

@sherryyy12 , yes it is painful LOL. I genuinely am happy for everyone else that has received a decision. However, I took quite a leap for my family in moving to Seattle back in April of this year (for an amazing professional opportunity in my wife’s career). Yet, it has thus far left me in a very anxious state, as I watch our one-year-old all day (as we wait for daycare to be available) and monitor this thread and the Udub portal every thirty minutes. I am an out of state transfer, but fully committed to living in Seattle, as I do in fact already live in Seattle LOL. Starting to wonder if this could lead to a gap in my educational endeavor. I would really rather not go back to a community college (no offense for CC transfers, but I am coming from a university and already did my time in a CC).
@gbake98 Yes! I just pulled up my application status on a whim and I was accepted! I’m assuming today, but not sure the actual time frame. I’m OOS and will most likely deny as I’ve pretty much committed to UMich already. I am a non traditional student, went to a WA community college (Olympic) for a short period before my husband got orders and we transferred out of state, finished up my AA in florida, applied with a 3.79 and killer essay (worked full time in banking while going to school full time, only EC) Good luck!
Just checked MyUW again and now it says I’m officially accepted!! Woo!!
