UPenn- Wharton (early decision) Reach (unfortunately I don’t feel like you’ve demonstrated enough business insight but w/e, maybe they don’t care)
UC Berkeley - Low Reach (OOS is very hard, very low acceptance rate)
MIT- Sloan (the business school) - Reach (same as Wharton)
Duke - Low Reach
NYU- Stern (the business school) (High Match)
U of Michigan (Match)

Like everyone else said, very good chances across the board (even at MIT/Penn). Make those essays good!

Apply Wharton ED. Business EC’s don’t matter if you have other EC’s which showcase clear intelligence through other activities. You’re probably in if you do ED. Being female helps too. I know a girl exactly like her who got in, with absolutely no business EC’s. She did, however, have great test scores, a strong interest in math, and quality leadership positions.

thanks everybody for your opinions!

NICE

Hi,

Like others have said you have a great shot at these schools. However, according to previous chancings, you have no clear safety!!! (unless I am an idiot and missed something).. make sure you have one.

someone mentioned what MIT looks for in students… According to them, and according to what I have seen, they don’t want grinders, but what interesting, resilient, creative,..etc students who bring something to campus. it this is why MIT places less emphasis on SAT/AP/grades and more on the actual person… check out their online blogs on their website.

just my two cents…

oh well, i do have safeties: A&M and UT Austin (if their business honors can be considered a safety)
i just didn’t post them because I know I have a pretty good chance of getting in to them, being in-state and all (I hope I don’t sound pretentious or anything!)
