btw would it be too late to upload some documents onto the upenn portal of “upload material”? I may want to change my major along with adding in some additional reasons why I would want to attend
Has anybody’s GC been asked to send in first quarter grades? Mine was asked recently, but wondering if this is common and if it means I am on the bubble…?
@toomanydonuts aw thank you! I hope so aaah
Most of decisions should have been made. You may try to upload. There is no guarantee that they will review it and will not affect the decisive.
@upennperuvian I would say tell her now! I know I’d be upset if any of my friends EDed without telling me and then got in (and I didn’t), just because having another person ED from your school can really change your chances and her hopes might be up whereas if she knew you were applying she might think differently of her chances and change her expectations. I just think telling her is the right thing to do.
Do y’all think someone with a 1400 ish SAT + TASP could get in along with great ECs + Essays?
did anyone apply as history major??
Not if you’re accepted ED. If you’re deferred, yes. And if you apply RD, yes. But if you get accepted ED, no.
The HS may send anyway as a matter of policy, but the question was does Penn need them of accepted ED.
got it thank you @skieurope
Question for parents - anyone buying gifts from the Penn bookstore to give to their DD/DS if they’re accepted?
Yes, my parents said they are buying me presents in case
TBH I was thinking of buying a lot of pens if I get in rather than UPenn swag from the bookstore.
i’ve held off on buying much college swag for the sole purpose of buying a ton when i decide on a particular college
@alargegiraffe haha definitely do! I’m already planning a whole day of class skipping and perhaps asking for extension of ddl
omg thought I could delete this post but good thing to hear clarification on mid-year reports!
what does it mean if my friends interview was 10 minutes long…they only asked like 3 questions :/// looking SLOWW
Each interviewer has his/her own style. Do not read too much into it.
I know I’m a little late but… can someone chance me?

Preety good. Definitely good shot. Do you think someone with a 1400s ish and TASP along with great ECS and Essays could get in @Ariaf124
Actually @Ariaf124 with Penn’s released score data you’re in the upper 50% despite what many people on cc will claim for your sat. Also, you have a perfect act so I don’t know what you mean by low scores?? But I think you’re almost a sure bet.
