UPENN ED, NORTHEASTERN EA & UMASS AMHERST EA

I am applying to UPenn ED, Northeastern EA, and Umass amherst EA. My superscored ACT is a 25 and my SAT score is 1660 (I know its really bad) and I will be taking it again in a couple weeks. My UW gpa is 3.5, I have many extracurriculars and awards including national honor society and national high school scholars and I'm also a URM and 1st generation. I know my scores are low, but I'm not going to give up.

Rejected by Penn and Northeastern, UMass maybe.

Umass yes
the other two no

You will get crucified in the decision room if you apply to UPenn. Don’t waste the admissions officers time and don’t waste your parents money on an application. Being 1st gen and a URM won’t make up for average test scores and an average GPA.

lol ok, I hope to prove you guys all wrong… :)>-

You need to bump up your scores a bit. To at least a 1900, it’ll give you a good chance of NU and UMass. For UPenn, you probably need a 2100+. Don’t give up! If there’s a will, there’s a way.

Thanks @TheMaskedPanda‌ I’m not going to give up. Ive been studying for the past 2 months for the upcoming SAT so hopefully my hard work pays off :frowning:

@rigal97 I was in the same situation. I took 20 practice tests and ACT went from 25 to 31. Like I said, If there’s a will, there’s a way.
