I have avg stats.. and I don't really see myself have a very appealing transfer reason since Michigan has a good business school (Ross)too..
But I just dont like Michigan. 0.-
The gloomy weather sucks.

I might will transfer again next year...
and I hv a feeling that I wont receive the email notification since I cannot get the login/password email from Upenn....

I applied to Wharton as well...avg stats... from wisconsin... I go to UCLA for fun. I;ve always wanted to be at Wharton.... and being deferred and then rejected last year wasn't fun.

hmmm i see... ive never been much of a businessman... i suck at selling things

My brother in laws thinking of applying to wharton.. hes like 30 though and he just got out of the army. He served in iraq and afghanistan as a chinook pilot and went to west point, but didnt do particularly well. I have no idea what his chances are, but i dont think theyre too good either.

Is your bro in law applying for grad Wharton? I assume his west point education has already given him an undergrad degree?
Ya. When I first checked out schools to apply, both my mom and I found out Upenn seems leaving some spots open just for transfer students. But now I don'tthink its the case for Wharton.

yea i have a feeling im gonna be the june 1st batch for some reason haha

only like 3 more weeks to go.. woo

and i thought theyd be out may 1

but honestly, as of right now even if i get accepted i doubt i'd be able to go (financial reasons...) but i thought id see what theyd offer me anyway

and i think the transfer rates (off the top of my head...though i have a good memory) for last yr were like 170/2000 (8.5%) for entire applicant pool... but i know wharton's transfer rate is much lower so the CAS is probably slightly higher than that

Yea... but i think that they accept around 300, thats just the number of students that attend. Penn's transfer acceptance rate is something like 12%, and only like 60% of accepted people attend i think.

I got an e-mail saying that I needed to fulfill requirements for Wharton, namely an extra semester of calculus and macroeconomics, and asking if I had plans to fulfill them this summer. I told her I would be glad to forgo my trip to south africa this summer to take them at Wharton or elsewhere. Is this a good sign or a bad sign?

I got an email about missing materials on May 9 with this message (part of a list, the Xs to indicate what is missing):

"Form 4 (Mid-Term grade report)-XXXXXXXXX or unofficial final grades"

Does this mean I need to send them my final grades, which aren't even available now? Is this standard, or do you all think they want to see my final grades before they make a decision? (I hope that is not the case b/c this semester did not go too well...)
