URGENT IDOC Submission

I snail mailed my documents on 2/20 to the following address (which is given on the IDOC website) :

College Board Processing Center
P.O. Box 8570
Portsmouth, NH 03802

but noticed today that CollegeBoard’s website has the following address as IDOC’s processing center:

The College Board
P.O. Box 4017
Mt. Vernon, IL 62864

My documents are labeled as “not received”.

My emails are not going through and I have unsuccessfully called several times - each time getting either a busy tone or hearing the other line end without talking to a live person…

Should I be worried?? Is this delay normal?

When we submitted IDOC last year, we used a method we can track it. I think that was required. Nevertheless, I believe you can submit IDOC electronically this year.

@billcsho‌ I am unable to track my letter because I did not ask for delivery confirmation and I had difficulty with the sizing on my electronic submission, so I sent my documents through snail mail instead :frowning:

@Volume I remember they requested shipping with tracking option. Anyway, you should just send them again.

I would be worried about sensitive and private financial information in the hands of unauthorized recipients.

Keep trying the number. I got busy signals too the first few times. Be prepared to be on hold a long time.

If it comes back to you, I would keep the envelope, just in case. You can at least show them you did send it on time to one of their addresses.

@prospect1 That’s exactly what I am worried about :frowning:

@oldUVAgrad‌ Around what time of day did you call? The line continues to end for me.

I sent mine to the same address on the 23rd and ours still say not received as well. That is the address IDOC had on their cover sheet. I fortunately mailed it Priority Mail Overnight with tracking. It has been received by IDOC, but not marked such on their website. You are most likely okay. I contact all the schools and only two wanted me to send the information hard copy direct, the rest were quite adamant they did NOT want me to send anything and assured me that they were aware of the problem.

That being said, yes, I am nervous as well. WTH? At least mark them received!

@Volume, I called in the morning, right around 9.

@NEPatsGirl‌ Exactly! Yesterday, I was fortunately able to get through after an hour on hold and my situation was “escalated”
I checked my IDOC again today and all my documents are marked as received. What a huge relief haha.

Thanks for the help guys!

Volume - that gives me hope. I just got off the phone with an IDOC representative who sent my son’s info to the Processing Center. His documents were uploaded on February 15th but still not listed as received or processed as of today.
