urgent: penn cheering

ok so tryouts are this monday & tuesday (and apparently incoming freshman are included)

basically I am wondering whether I should show up or not.

Does anyone know approx. how good they are and how competitive it is to make the team?? Because I wouldn't want to make a fool of myself and show up if they were on a different level...

I've done gymnastics for several years so my tumbling is decent, but I've never done any stunting at all..

so can any current students tell me if they're good or not and if they usually have a lot of cuts??

bump

10 char

I hope that someone else has more specific info, but I can’t imagine that cheering at Penn is on a particularly competitive level. Would be news to me.

can someone be nice to me and help me out?

I really have to decide whether I’m going or not real soon, as in today.

You might as well go and check out the scene. You really have nothing to lose.

yeah I guess you’re right except I would waste 4 hours driving roundtrip plus gas money

train/bus? Must be cheaper. And if it gets you a spot on the squad, completely worth it. And if you think it’s way out of your league, though I suggest you stick around and just enjoy the experience, you might as well explore the city/campus some more?

hey hcvops I have a friend at Penn who also did gymnastics and went into cheerleading. PM me and I’ll get you two in touch.
