In the orientation book on pg 13 it says a student must have a satisfactory AP score in US Govt and Politics to take the TX Govt test during orientation. Since AP scores have not been released for the May AP tests, can a student take that TX Govt test later to try and receive credit? Maybe after school starts or later in the summer? My son is attending orientation the wk of June 22-25.

Looks like it’s offered year-round:

[Test Periods and Test Descriptions](http://www.utexas.edu/academic/mec/cbe/testperiod.html)

Thanks for that link! That is great!

they can take the test even if the AP scores havent come in yet.
