yeah i think that was 65. i just put it into my ti 89 and spitted out x y z values and i added em.

i posted this a while back but it never got awnsered. WHY was the ratio problem with pens and pencils 1.6 and not 1.4…??

@superninja-

no the answer was 65
(9+8+48)

@hotair- The answer is (4,-6) because y= |f(x)| so y-value could not be negative. Yes (0,-3) also has a negative y-value, but it wasn’t part of the graph at all so that couldn’t have been the answer.

Yeah what was the problem that had 42 as the answer for grid in?

So I rushed on one of the questions that had the graph, and it was like what would be the graph of f(x) = |x|^2 or something, and it gave that x=(x-2) or something to that extent. Was it a positive parabola pointing upward? I literally just looked at it and chose an answer…

Are the numbers superninja put “48/24; x/4; y/12; z/4.5” the correct numbers for the actual question?

Well, I mean, the question I believe asked which one was not on the new graph right? If (0,-3) IS IMPOSSIBLE, it can’t be on the new graph. What a bs question

@hotair I thought I read it as which of these is impossible on both graphs

Also, does anyone know which math section was experimental?

hotair i had an experimental math. It was an extra gridin section with a question about some guy driving to his new house and carrying chairs.

NOOOOOOOOOOO!!! My failure to RTFQ deep-sixed my PSAT math grade and the first SAT I took. Well, hopefully I’ll get higher than a 690 to merge with my 800’s in both CR and W and this would not have been a complete waste of time.

Lucas, I know I had experimental math and I am almost certain I didn’t have a question like that, the only driving q I had was like the classic 2 cars start at different times with diff speeds and at what time do they catch up

so the answer was not (4,-6)

^I had that too. There were two different math experimentals aparently

did anyone else have this question? the guy’s name was something asian, mr. wu or something. He can carry 3 chairs in his car at one time. He has 13 chairs to move to his new house 7 miles away. What is the least amount of miles he can drive?

@Brotherjames The answer was (4,-6)
@Lucasw That was math exp

Still looking for grid in question with answer 42

Sorry, I didn’t see any replies to my previous post, so again, if I got 3 omits and 2 wrong on math, what’s my probable score range?

It’s the one where you had to find the number of 5 by 5 cubes in the three-dimensional figure.

decrescendo, that cube q was a mc and I thought it was 40? Also, with that you probably got around a 740-690

Why wasn’t that 40?
that question was definitely 40, checked like 3 times
