On marshall supplement app, do you think I should list Calc I under (Math 118 or Higher) section, which I got an A in? I was informed that it may not fulfill the math requirement though. Instead, do you think I should list my Calc II course that will definitely fulfill it but is In Progress? I feel like I will definetely get a spring grade request form then. Anyone? Thanks

Are we supposed to fax our college transcripts as well as high school transcripts? Also where do we enter our courses and grades?

Also, where do we put courses that we've completed for the GE classes, diversity, etc? The transfer page only ask for major pre reqs. Am I missing something?

Any math that's pre-calc (including stats) won't fit the B-School req for calc.

The transcripts don't have to be faxed, but they need to be sealed and official. They should have part 6/7 with them.

You don't need to distinguish your GE units. They'll do that for you.

For those wondering.

If you're worried about getting the supplemental material in by the deadline, you can fax unofficial college transcripts. However, make sure you get the official ones in within a reasonable amount of time.

My CCC doesn't start until Feb 2nd. The earliest they can send it out is Feb 3rd. If you're in a similar situation, I suggest you fax your unofficial transcript by Monday, and get everything else in as soon as possible.

Hey I heard that if you have less than 30 units (at the time your are apply) they wont make a decision until they received your spring grades, so for most they wont hear until July (well under 30 credits people)

does anyone know if there are any truth to that?

Most probably they will make a SGR, unless you had a 4.0, 2400/36.

"And they (USC and SCA) said try to keep the deadline, but if you can't, it's fine as long as it comes ASAP, within the week."

Okay thanks! I was getting worried. It's definitely coming within the week, just a few days late.

Yeah, Jocelynn, that's probably true. People with under 30 units thus far should bank on getting SGR along with most other applicants

Hey guys I am new to this but I am in the process of turning in my application...hopefully this evening or tomorrow morning. I am applying to Marshall and I have like 45 credit units completed and I am taking 17 this semester but I have a few questions that hopefully some of you can help me out with.

With the HS transcripts what will happen if they aren't postmarked by the 2nd but you fax them? The problem that I am having is that I have waited too long to request them so I am not sure yet if my HS is going to get my transcript sent by Monday....

Also, I know that we need to fax the Transfer Academic History by the 2nd but do they also require that our official transcripts be sent out by the same date as well?? or do they request that after you turn in part II?

Thanks guys

Just get them in ASAP. They understand that you aren't 100% responsible for other people sending in stuff, but they won't wait more than a week to get them. They don't make their final decisions til June, so you don't need to worry as much as if you were a freshman to be timely. But still... be timely!

I have a question! I had my transcripts sent to USC in January (they are official) so am I still required to submit the "Transfer College Transcript Cover Sheet" and the "Transcript Request Form for High School Records" forms?
I don't even understand the purpose of the forms if I had my old college and highschool send the transcripts directly to USC. I had them sent before I knew about the forms.

I had my HS fax unofficial transcripts using the fax cover sheet from the site and I had them mail official transcripts to the address noted on the sheet.

I am planning on printing out my unofficial college transcript from my school's website and faxing it using the cover sheet from the site. Then I'll request official ones this week and send them or possible hand-deliver them to USC.

miss west, i did the same thing and they told me it was fine via phone. if you did it prior to applying, they don't care. its just easier for them if we had done it their way.

Waiit,

So am I supposed to send in my AP scores NOW? And SATs and everything? Which means, do they HAVE to get it by Feb 2?!!!!!!

I thought I only have to send in SATs if I have less than 30 units? Or should I do it just in case?

Alisonn, it's okay if it comes one-two weeks after Feb 2nd. Although you are not required to send SAT scores, if you feel like they are very good, it wouldn't hurt to send them.

The Feb 2nd deadline is final for the online application.

jocelyn, sadly this is the case. I applied last year with 48 units, received a SGR in July, all sent my spring grades in which were all A's, and was still rejected late July.

What was the reason you got rejected? are they really picky??? i mean whats ur GPA??? or does it depend on your major?

Here comes the dumb question that is inevitably to be asked:

is this thing due Sunday night at 11:59PM or Monday night at 11:59PM?

Thanks zircushio!
