Should I be worried because I haven't received anything in the mail and my status hasn't changed (being reviewed) since 1/07? On the OASIS link there was something about "Part 1 Fee", but it disappeared after I asked them what it was about it. What's going on?

Grey, you should just wait it out. You paid the money so you might as well.

And they probably didn't get around to filing everything. I had that thing on OASIS too, but it went away after my status updated.

Just for clarification, first years who are applying as fall 2009 sophomores have better chances if they do happen to receive spring grade requests?

i'm at a 3.785 with 21 units, I think I will probably receive a spring grade request if not an immediate rejection. Opinions anyone?

I haven't recieved anything in the mail either. And I still can't logged onto OASIS, what's going on? I emailed them and was told it would take a few days. But it's been more than a few days. Should I be worried about that?

Well, if you get a SGR, then you weren't immediately rejected, so yeah obviously you're better off initially. But as far as "better chances" are concerned, that all depends on your spring grades I assume.

You people are crazy. If you submitted everything that you had to submit, you really shouldn't hear from them for another 3 1/2 months. So why are you freaking out about a stupid status line on a website?

As far as OASIS is concerned, you can't log into that using the username/password that you used for your app. You need to register.

grey: the problem is everytime I try to register for an account on that OASIS, it keeps saying no record found to match my USCID and birthdate.

Probably a stupid question, but where do I find my USC ID?

what does it mean?

My status shows:
We have received your application, and it appears we need more information. Please ensure you have submitted all required items. Due to the high volume of application documents we receive, allow sufficient processing time.

There is a link below:
Click here to see status of specific documents, or to turn in missing items.
Status last updated: 02/10/2009

However, once I click this link, I got

OASIS Services > Admission & Financial Aid Online Services

This service is available to current Admission and Financial Aid applicants. We currently do not have sufficient information to process your request.

jellyfish08, try e-mailing them. I forgot mine last year and under "frequently asked questions" or something like that you can get them to resend your USCID and pw

guys, i think i am in a deep trouble now. I did submit my online application by Feb2nd, but i overlooked the part on additional forms that is needed to be fax. therefore, my questions are is that additional forms submission deadline is on feb 2nd? if it is, then what are the consequences of submitting it late? will they be generous any extended deadline for me? I am an international student so i need to get my high school transcript translated and mailed, which takes a while.

Hey, unlimited, you are fine- the documents that needed to be faxed are NOT DUE on the 2nd. Just get them in when you can, after you send them, it will take them a while to let you know they got the documents (they are getting a ton)

usc09, I had the same status, sent my transcript (for high school) and it says that they are missing documents. A few days later I had the same message, clicked on the link and it said I did not need to send any documents. Then it switched back. You don't need to worry. Just send in all of your stuff and wait. Grey is right, we aren't even supposed to hear from them until after April 1st, and probably won't hear anything until May

You should expect notification by Mid-May to Early-June, most likely.

They're too swamped with freshman admissions and appeals during the month of April. They'll have to determine how many spots are available for transfers after freshman admissions have settled.

@CaptainRodeo

Thanks for the reply. I am glad to hear that they are not due on 2nd feb. Anyway, u i have one more question if you will. Do we need to mail them our college transcript as well? Their requirements list are kinna vague. Thank you.

Yes, we need to mail them both transcripts. They asked for them to be faxed; which is awkward because official transcripts can only be mailed. So, I will fax my college transcript and mail it as well. Hope that helps.

By the way, where are you from?

just a quick question,
so how many of you guys are applying as Junior Transfers? :S

@Hopeful918: I know I am. I'm an Econ major. What about you?

I am as a Religion major
