EDYE28: Decisions for transfer to USC will first be heard by the earliest, May. There aren't any interviews administered by USC for transfer students.

To press on, most decisions are received in late May, early June.

EDYE28- It is too early to have received an acceptance/rejection letter. By June 1st there will be an acceptance or rejection or a request for more information. By what I have seen, there may be a wave a acceptances that begin in May, perhaps April, but I doubt the latter month. In regards to an interview, I was under the impression that they were to be arranged by the applicant. Concerning anyone not enrolled in school and applying, from what I have seen on this thread (which is not inclusive of all transfer applicants) is that most of us are currently in college.

Typically transfer students are not given interviews. However, I believe I did see something last year that some transfer students are randomly selected for interviews and the University will contact those individuals.

sighhh,

okay, I guess I'll do it. I think I was trying to excuse myself so I won't have to do all the tedious work. Anyway, so I have to get the tax returns in to them as well? MMm maybe I'll look that up. Thanksss!

allisonn,

I suggest you hit up our USC counselor. You can find the person in charge of our region on the website.

USC/Financial Aid are slowly killing me

My parents and I had to rush their taxes but at 1st we wanted to have someone else do it but we didn't have enough time, but I dont want to pay 70 dollars to print out the taxes just so I can fax them

and I am trying to call financial aid (since 9am) and they are so busy with calls that they wont even let me stay in the line to hold for a rep

ughhh (sorry just wanted to rant a little)

Why are you trying to call the finaid office? Maybe you have a question that I can have a crack at...

Hey guys,

I've been reading this blog for about a week now and I am impressed with how helpful this page really is. That being said, I have a question for you guys. On the application home page, how many of you were able to download the "Additional Forms to Download?" I called my admission director and he said not to worry about any of that stuff, but I'm beginning to think that I should call them again and see if there is something wrong with the app or if they just havent gotten across it yet.

Just a little background; I will be a sophomore next year and I am currently attending Cal Poly SLO. I am getting so anxious to hear back from USC!!

Thanks!

cp,

I think most of us were able to download those.

cp- I am sure you have looked at the additional forms, but just in case: there are two important ones; what they are are cover sheets for faxing documents. The first document is a college transcript. There is a cover sheet, closing sheet, and another sheet to fill out information on concerning class, credits and grades. Then there is a similar form for a high school transcript. Transcripts that are faxed are not official, they must be sent in via mail, they do get grades to USC quickly; I faxed and also mailed transcripts. I recommend that you download the documents and fax them; it may change your status. Also, do not stress, there is no deadline to have these docs faxed, but do it when you can. That is just my opinion.

ahhh it's March! Juniors your time has almost come...sophomores, let's wait another grueling 4-5 months o_O

which financial aid forms are due today, or ever? i already did the fafsa but not the css. what other forms are there?

Calgrant if you're a junior

can i get in now k thx

Ok, so I have two midterms, a normal test, an essay (another essay rough draft that I am not going to do), and a presentation and I am FrEaKiNg out about my tests! Wish me luck all, I am dreading a spring grade request for this semester.

Oh, and good luck to anyone else who has tests and/or is stressing! By the way, stress is really not that great of a thing (sometimes its motivating) so, try not to stress and just do your best! (wow, talk about subconscious self help psychology in that comment haha) Whatev.

Im in the same boat as you captainrodeo.. Stressin real bad

Ya, it sucks. We'll get through it. Good luck to you too.
