@CADREAMIN or anyone else – do you know the admitted student days and anything else for admitted students in April? My S got into Ucla and hopeful for USC and would like to plan one trip out for both schools. Ucla has event on April 16 was hoping USC (assuming he gets in) would have something close to that date. Thx!

Admitted Students Day is April 24th, it will show up on you.usc when results are up and if admitted.

They also have events in major metro areas around the country/world for those that don’t go to LA. These are good too (if the volunteers are good, ours was excellent) cause you can meet people from your area going. The dates I can find for these in US are:

It’s nice to be able to get away from the UCLA thread. Everyone was so tense and kept snapping at each other… Bad vibes… Will decisions be mailed Wednesday like the Twitter says or are there theories it’ll actually be Tuesday?

Hello all! Class of 2019 admitted student here! Want to wish everyone luck with decisions in about a week or so from now!! Also I hope you guys have been/are applying for scholarships because USC is a really expensive school!!! (200k+ in debt isn’t worth it for ANY school!) That’s just my piece of advice because turning down USC because of finances was one of the hardest (if not thee hardest) things I’ve ever had to do. Best of luck future Trojans, and fight on!

There are two types of events for accepted USC students: Explore USC and Preview USC.
Explore USC: 4/4, 4/7, 4/11, 4/14, 4/18
Preview USC: 4/5, 4/8, 4/12, 4/15, 4/19, 4/22
Some of these dates are not on the website but I list based on the packet my son received (accepted).
For students who are not accepted, there is Meet USC program and you can google this for available time and dates.
Ugh ikr? @Jessdilla2015 I didn’t get any of the big scholarships so right now I’m just hoping that if I get in I get full FA because other wise my poor butt can’t afford it lol. And it’s my dream so it’d kill me to turn it down.
are decisions going to be posted on the portal on Saturday? If so, when?
@supbros111 Yeah they’re coming up on the portal on Saturday. People said that in previous years, it was up at midnight pacific time. But I figure that whenever you wake up on Saturday, as long as it’s at a reasonable time and not like 3am, it should prob be there.
@pterosprite That was my theory that they will be mailed on Tuesday, even though they say Wednesday. This is based on last several years, the Gold packets always went out on a Tuesday (last year it was March 24) and portal was updated on Friday morning 12:10am (this is Thursday night/Friday morning just after midnight to be clear).
I think they are just publically padding the process with a day for those not savvy enough to be on cc. 
I could be wrong (and apologize in advance if so), but they for sure post a picture of them leaving the admissions office on facebook. So if you don’t see that photo on Tues, it will be Wednesday for sure. And when that picture posts, there will be 200 pages of new posts on this thread within 3-4 days. Let the fun begin!
I really hope they do send them out on Tuesday. I’m so freaking nervous. I will just like die of sadness if I get rejected.
Has any dance majors heard from GKSD?
If on the supplemental parts of the USC application, I wrote that my brother 11 years ago, got into USC but had no money to attend (he was also an immigrant so he could not recieve aid), would it make a sligh difference in how they view me?
He isn’t the one appying for next year. If however his lack of admittance shaped your life and created a better essay, maybe that better essay can help, but most candidates have great essays. And, if you are first generation, or URM, that will also help.

This girl I follow on tumblr (not gonna say URL) who works in the admissions office told an anon on this Friday/Saturday that “we’ll be sending out notifications at the end of this week.” So I don’t know what day she meant by that??
