how do u check if they have received your materials like transcript, coversheet, etc?
the application status mentions no information regarding whether documents have been received or not

Guardiangel - https://afa.usc.edu/AFA/login.jsf

usc24 - When did you submit your FAFSA and Profile? I did mine on January 21st and it still says "You have not yet applied for financial aid" on OASIS.

wait can't we still apply for fafsa...?

einna- I submitted my fafsa and profile around mid-june, not sure though. So it took USC two weeks to process it because on the date they received them was 1/25/08 and 1/28/08, according to oasis.

einna... is that website accurate / updated?
if it is then i wun have anything to worry about =D
seems that i have nothing missing

oh crap i just checked the received.
it only mentions part 1 being received
errr?

how do you do oasis???? and can you check if you got in by Oasis???

https://camel2.usc.edu/OASIS/Login.aspx

User: USC ID Number
Pass: MMDDYY or MMDDYYYY (I can't remember)

If anyone is freaking out about transcripts and stuff not being received don't forget about the fax option. http://www.usc.edu/admission/undergraduate/apply/docmgmt.html

Even though "faxed transcripts will be considered unofficial. Preliminary admission decisions using unofficial records are subject to verification of the official record" at least you'll have all your stuff in. I imagine it works kind of like the UC system, where they have you fill in your grades then verify them after you've been accepted.

Using https://afa.usc.edu/AFA/login.jsf

According to them they have everything of mine including all financial aid stuff woot!

Laguna-When did you mail your transcripts?

I applied and everything but I don't remeber ever getting a USC id number. Where can I find it?

you should have gotten one. usc id #=file number for each applicant.
you should've gotten one with the letters they've sent to your house reminding you to apply or with the paper undergraduate application. or you could have easily called up and request one.

I dropped it off at USC personally last friday

laguna when did you submit your financial aid stuff? i did mine close to the dealine and it still hasn't shown up on OASIS. just wondering how long it'll take to show up.

Okay things just got weird for me.

When I login here: https://camel2.usc.edu/OASIS/Login.aspx, it shows the tax returns I faxed in for financial aid and that it's under review. There is no where on that menu for me to check my admissions documents.

When I login here: https://camel.usc.edu/admapp/Default.asp, it says they received my application, but still need some documents. When I click on the more info link, it leads to an error page (but I can tell it's supposed to be part of the OASIS from the first link ^).

When I login here: https://afa.usc.edu/AFA/login.jsf, it says they have not received any financial aid info, and that they have only received my Part I application.

Also, one more piece of randomness. My credit card just got charged the full $65 application fee. I was under the impression that paying $10 with my Part I application meant I'd only have to pay $40 when I submit Part II. Did this happen to anyone else? I'm calling tomorrow to get everything straightened out.

Question:

With all of these links being shown, do we have to sign up individually for each one? What I mean is this...

When I submitted my application online, I submitted it through the Online Application System. This link:

https://camel.usc.edu/admapp/Default.asp

Yet when it comes to the Financial Aid pages and OASIS, I am unable to log on with the same information. Do I have to start new/separate accounts for each one?

Thanks!

Quick question.

I filed my FAFSA back prior to January 22nd, and I'm having the Cal Grant thing sent by March, but I'm wondering if there are separate financial aid papers to be filed with USC.

I keep seeing things about this on the website, but didn't receive any in the application package.

Thanks,

I did my Fafsa and CSS around Jan 20th

yeah i'm getting weird messages too. kinda frustrating.
