I think a lot of this missing document chaos IS because of the backlog someone mentioned. I hope they clear through it soon.

I mailed my transcript cover sheet along with my transcripts on 1/15/08 and 1/16/08. On Thursday was when they updated oasis and finally received my transcripts. So everybody stop worrying about the transcripts if you sent them within the past two weeks.

It will be very stressful the first couple of weeks after submitting apps. Getting in your necessary docs. Worrying about getting in and what not during the waiting period. Then you'll forget about it. Then the stress will come back 2 weeks before USC submit letters. Just remember, there is really no reason to stress. Everything is submitted. There's NOTHING you can do to improve your chances from here on out. Just relax and let time pass.

Hopefully everyone who has worked hard during their previous college gets in! Good luck to all of you! I'm glad as hell I'm not going through what you guys are going through. :P

thanks Doryx. :P I'm just being a control freak lol.

I received a letter from USC stating that they have not received my high school and college transcripts even though I sent them on the 23rd of January and someone at USC even signed for them. Anyone else experiencing this?

yeah dont worry bout it if u talked to representive already

Hey BigBucksT

I had a similar problem. Online it said my College Transfer Cover Sheet and High School Transcripts were missing. What didn't make sense to me was the fact that I had sent my college transcripts, high school transcripts, college and high school cover sheet in the same envelope.

I called USC and they told me that usually it takes up to 3 weeks to process all the mail they receive. They told me that If in 3 weeks it doesn't clear up then one should call again.

yeah. so ignore oasis, it is.

Does anyone want to compile a list like what goldenjet the past two years of the applicants and keep up to date on who got accepted and rejected?

yea i think that would be a good idea. Also, for people applying to marshall, i don't know if anyone else shares my opinion but im personally curious about everyones stats who have applied. i would like to see everyones stats...

I say you guys make another thread because this thread is being mostly used for questions not statistics.

Also it would be better if you guys didn't post your stats until you've been rejected or accepted.

Thanks for the concerns krnpsychopath but I say you look at the first post in this thread. It was made for stats. You're right that it has evolved. However, the underlying purpose of this thread remains the same. It's a place where each USC applicant can speak their mind and communicate with other USC applicants regarding common concerns, questions or whatever else they feel is relevant. If you look into the history of this thread, it has been used for many reasons, including statistics. In other words, there isn't one sole purpose. If you have a problem, I understand your concern. However, possibly you're the one out of place and in the wrong thread.

All I'm trying to say is there's no reason to try and be an ........ just because someone presents a question or wants to compare their self with the other applicants. If you don't want to respond, don't post. Otherwise, don't try to bully people out when other people are wondering the same exact things.

damn everyone has such good stats

Drekwins, how am I bullying other people out?

My comment was only a suggestion to make it easier for people to find instead of having to look through 44 pages.

and who are you to call me an @$$? Go worry yourself over your chances instead of who to judge.

Did I judge you as a person? If i came across like that then I apologize but what I meant was that your statement was an ...... statement. It seemed rude and it wasn't your place to just interrupt and basically say "get out." I'm not judging you as a person, I just didn't like how that came off. Maybe I'm overreacting. Either way, it's not worth the trouble because it's really over nothing.
