hey guys im from brazil and i still havent received the DHL email letting me know that there is a package for me… has any international student received this email already?

All the norcal people - when I got my admission package in January, it was postmarked the 26th and arrived the 28th, so you guys will probably start getting stuff tomorrow!

SC is not all about numbers. 10fan posted on another forum his/her ECs. We do not see the entire application, counselor recommendations or hurdles overcome.

Dude I am also from Brazil and have not received a DHL it appears only students in China have received it so far. Im not sure if this means that people getting DHL are the ones not posting on college confidential or if this actually means something. Usually International students are the first to know through DHL but it appears that Southern Californian students are hearing about their decisions before everyone else (and some students in China).

Last year, USConnect updated 3 days after the decision letters were mailed out.

The delay is most likely to give time for the mail to reach most US destinations before they update USConnect. If it is like last year, USConnect will update on Friday.

Then, if you see an enrollment deposit box, you will know you are accepted.

I would caution parents not to make assumptions about what is in the big white envelope. Yes, your child is accepted. It may well NOT be to the program your child applied to, however… especially if they applied to the cinema school LOL… we know someone who got the lovely large packet today but it didn’t include an admission to the school he wanted…
