UT austin 2017/2018 Transfer Thread

Yep, COFA has always gotten the first acceptances the past few years. Other schools usually start coming out a week afterward

Oh and yes, congrats!!! :smiley: :-c :D/

Meanwhile, I saved this page and the mystatus page to my home screen on my phone so I can obsessively check every five seconds. We are all going to be bald or have grey hairs after this. 8-}

when you get an email saying they are going to offer you a housing contract in a few day but they have not given me an official word on acceptance… lol, perks of rooming with an RA?

I thought some might find this insightful.

Also, I’m almost scared to open mystatus at this point. @-)

@longhorn322 where can you find that information? TIA!

My high school class salutatorian and I have been pretty good friends for a while and he is going to be one of the RA’s for San Jacinto. UT emailed me this morning to ensure that I was “okay” with being his roommate since I might have disruptions sometimes when he is on call. I had to fill out a little survey regarding that. That was all.

Hey guys! Just wanted to update, I was accepted earlier today into COFA!

@brz160030 Congrats!!!

@brz160030 I knew that you’d get in as soon as I saw your profile pic :smiley:

@Thompson2688 it’s my good luck charm :))

congrats !!! @brz160030

@@brz160030 Woo hoo!!!

I am wondering if the best get accepted first then it goes progressively down

I am really nervous I do not want to keep waiting till June :frowning: to get notified if I am in or not, and I have bad luck

thanks everyone! Good luck to you all, I’m sure you’ll all get accepted as well!

Congrats @brz160030 !!!

Congrats @brz160030 and @cpereiro!!!

@awesomesaucee you mentioned that fine arts students tend to get notified first, do you know when CNS decisions are most likely to come out?

@AndreinaA In past years, some CNS students received decisions starting April 15th. CNS results seem to be spread out all over from April til May because their are so many majors to cover

@awesomesaucee I know that COLA usually is one of the earlier ones but do you know what the range is for receiving acceptance or declining letters is?
