@990725 and @hustling congrats. What were you acceptance dates? My son got accepted mid December and I have not seen anyone with December acceptance date receiving AES yet (at least not on this board).
Hi guys, I got accepted at UTD on December 8 but I did not recieve AES the first round. I asked for a re-review of my application and the AES Office replied to me and told me that I got the AES Distinction level award. If you havent recieved AES yet and feel like you deserve it I would suggest that you email them.
Do we have to provide all the stats when requesting reconsideration for AES? What all the information need to send? Whom we should address for reconsideration? Please answer these questions. Appreciate your help.
@throwawaycc0207@StagnantApe Can you please share your stats? I received achievement and dying to get distinction. I have worked very hard for it and it will be a dream come true. I emailed them for a reconsideration. Btw where did y’all email?
@Pro1234 I scored 33 on ACT and 1400 on SAT but only sent my ACT. I have a 3.75 GPA unweighted. In the email I just explained how I could not attend UTD without the AES scholarship. I also explained why I deserved the award. Hope that helps and just PM me if you have any questions
I emailed them and they said that they could not provide me AES as it has become very competitive. Does anyone know what other scholarships are available to me as an International student? The website is super complicated and most scholarships are only for In-state students.
So I just got UT Dallas AES w/ Honors OOS? Can someone explain to me what this is and what this entails? And does it disqualify me from having a chance at the McDermott scholarship?
