I’m thinking first round of portal updates today, and then mailed correspondence on Monday?
@HopefullyIGetIn I think I’m just trying to convince myself it’ll be on Friday, I just want them out lol. But I do think its possible just because historically decisions have been released either on Mondays or Fridays, and our portal did go down Wednesday night, maybe it was just 1 day early. Looking through past threads, the portal would always go down Sunday night or Thursday night.

What would be really nerve-wracking is not getting a decision if the first wave does come out tomorrow. I really wish we knew what % got the decision in the first wave.
I will say. That it is almost guaranteed that first waive will be out by a week from today. I know that may seem a long time, but for a worst case scenario, its not that bad. ITs exciting actually.
That’s a pretty good way to think of it, I guess. One week isn’t too long. I’ve been freaking out about decisions maybe coming out for a full week and it still went by quickly.

@usualhopeful yes, too quickly TBH. this semester, while stressful do to apps, have been fun. Plus its kind of relaxeing since my school is easy, I know I’m going to have to crank it up next semester. Wether I go to chapel hill, vandy, or whever

Also I’m getting too foggy to focus on my essay. I need to go for a walk, possibly consume caffeine, maybe just go for the bad decision and stay up? I really don’t want to risk not waking up for classes, etc. that I need to do in the morning.
Plus I have some other work I could do once I finish this essay. I need to make a few more Anki cards for bio.
I took a nap from 6 PM to 10 PM so yeah…

So fun fact, I slept for 0 minutes last night and instead researched FA and how generous the schools I applied to are and such. Today’s gonna be a good day 
Saaaame! I worked on my essay but also spent a lot of time not working on it (I genuinely don’t know what I did, I think i kept checking SDN forums but it was dead because it was 4 am).
I kid of like all nighters though. I love seeing the sunrise after being up through the entire night.

Rice and Vanderbilt are my top choices by far. That college and Vandy have been dreams of mine ever since I started the search for colleges in the U.S almost 4 years ago. Only now that I’ve had straight A’s at an American college, relevant ECs and great rec letters do I feel comfortable to even attempt to apply to them.

I mean, I do have a bit of a weird school situation I guess but… It means that I now have double the chances of having my application thrown in the bin yaaaaay!
