It’s definitely a draining and at times frustrating process. At least my admissions counselor has been helpful thus far, but I don’t want to seem like an annoyance if I ask too many questions.

yeah she seemed annoyed when i talked to her but all i asked was when wed hear decisions. so now im scared to contact her haha

Yeah, I kind of regret emailing my person. However, I’m not in a state where too many kids probably apply from, so I hope my emails are refreshing to him. Haha. I am just so optimistic.

ugh im too obsessed

Yeah, it’s easy to over-analyze everything lol. Our interactions with our counselors are a lot like high school dating when we would be concerned over not getting exclamation points and smiley faces in texts lol. I try to look for anything positive in her emails.

yeah exactly. it would just be such a dream come true to go to vandy so the anticipation is killing me!

If I’m in the first batch, I’ll probably receive the letter on Tuesday or Wednesday figuring Chicago is only an 8 hour drive (more or less) from Nashville Can’t wait to call tomorrow.

i hope i hear soon just so i can be out of my misery of waiting! i live in nyc i dont know how long that would take but i just pray im in the first baatch

I can’t get any work done here with all the worrying over Vandy. UGH! I have a five page (very difficult) paper due at 11 am… guess who hasn’t started?

Hey everyone. I was browsing the W&M transfer thread and decided to check in here. My, how the thread has grown since the last time I was on it!

I e-mailed my admissions counselor and an automated e-mail said that he will be out of the office from April 9th to the 18th.

Does this mean that my application probably hasn’t even be reviewed…?

/confusion+stress

How many of you applied with 3.75+ GPA’s? just curious…

And did any of you guys apply from California?

4.0 GPA with 81 credits at a regionally ranked LAC.

Though I think I might be down to a 3.9 this semester. -sigh-

Nice work there. ha, youre just slipping up… tisk tisk.

About 40 credits were during my senior year in high school, though. 20 credits the summer after. I was able to get my Associates before entering my “Freshmen” year at the LAC. I now have Junior/Senior status.

I hope this outweighs my high school record.

40 credits your senior year?! dang… how’d you manage that, like what did you do with your high school life senior year?

It was a program where I was able to spent Monday-Thursday at a local community college, and then Friday in high school taking P.E. and what not.

My girlfriend at the time was in the same program so that was pretty much my social life at the time. How na

That’s pretty cool i guess? but i know what you mean with the gf thing ha. I went to C.C. after my senior year because i didnt apply anywhere. I didnt have the best grades anyways but… now i do! ha. If i get in i already talked to the coach about walking on which would be sick because they have the same colors as my high school did.

I’m a tick below a 3.75 with a 3.74 through 80+ credits. Hopefully thats still good enough lol

im a 3.65 you guys are making me scared…

After this semester, I will be over at 3.75 (knock on wood).

Is Vandy the school that prefers students from schools with comparable academics? I forgot which school that is, but I hope mine is comparable enough.
