Very Horrible Student

I just want to know what are my chances to atleast a CUNY, or a SUNY

-From my freshmen to Junior years i've been getting C averages
-I have 0 Community Service
-Joined NO CLUBS
-0 AP's
-No extra-curricular
-Im 5 credits behind an average student ( Not in danger of not getting HS diploma though) I failed alot of classes....
-SAT score was 1640

Only thing i can say about myself was i've been to 2 mission trips (Church) to Africa and Korea. Which i don't think will really help much....

I do plan on doing community service during my senior year, but i don't think that will help at all.... I regret not studying during my HS years and building but my resume so much...

Is there anything i can to do atleast get into a SUNY, if not a CUNY?

Yup. But you're going to have to wait a year or so. Listen, go to community college and work your butt off. Get a 4.0 and do something spectacular -- wow them with your diverse ECs and at least 200+ hours of community service. Show them you've changed and you're really trying hard to make up for HS. Then apply to SUNY and CUNY as a transfer.

I'd start studying right now and freaking working super hard studying for SATs and then retaking it. You should get at least 650s on all sections. I'm sure you can do it if you study very hard.

The mission trips are.. interesting.. so like did you actually help people or just try to get them to convert? Because if you helped them and such it would make a great college essay.

Try to be as involved as you can in the community WHILE getting straight A's in community college taking classes you SHOULD have taken in high schools (whatever math/foreign language/whatever you didn't take). Take tough classes and excell.

Then you'll definitely get in. =]
