<p>A friend of mine got rejected from San Diego STATE(his first choice) but got accepted to UCLA. The only reason he applied to UCLA was because he got a fee waiver.... so now he has to go to UCLA. The admission process is very weird.</p>

<p>ive heard weird stories like accepted to Stanford but rejected from UCLA and such. but dat is just...wow. whats was his stats. maybe your friend had a phenomenal essay that made UCLA accept him.</p>
<p>My guess is that he somehow didn't fill out the SDSU application right... what a surprise.</p>
