@cookies1 It sounds like something went wrong with your fall transcript, but I would just call admissions right away and ask them yourself!

By the way, has anyones “credit evaluation” been completed yet? Its been 5 days for me, and still nothing.

@mollymcb the transfer credit evaluation can take a while. Mine took almost a month to finish if not longer, but I had my official acceptance before it was complete.

I am transferring from ODU, I have the hokie bird and they received my credits. I got the bird a week ago. Should I have been accepted by now?

Also, I called the VT registrar, and they said the credit evaluation had nothing to do with admissions. The registrar handles the credit evaluation and admissions handles your admission status.

@sabarone93 You should receive your acceptance by this Friday based on when you got it.

@sbarone93**

Accepted guys!!! so happy right now

Is anyone else gettting worried? I thought with a 3.7 i would have heard something by now, but it might because pamplin is slow. Are peoe getting hokie birds this week?

And congrats @VThopeful23 ! If anyone has gotten into pamplin can u post ur stats?

ditto @VThopeful23 …Congrats!!!

@collegebra…I too am still waiting to hear from Pamplin

@VTHopeful23 Congrats! I’m still waiting on mine.

I did get the bird for Pamplin, no official acceptance yet tho.

What are ur stats futurehokiebrah?

Just checked my application right now and was granted some financial aid. Anyone else see this, and I’m assuming this is a good sign.

@collegebra

4.0GPA in one semster of NOVA with 12 credits granted by tech (it says thats how many theyve accepted under the hokie bird link. you will see it when u get the bird). let me know if you need to know anything else

Oh nice! Well only 9 of my 15 credits last semester would be able to transfered to tech based on the equivalency thing online but i have the min requirements of english, math, and science done. Would theh reject me justbecause they dont accept all of my courses for transfer? I go to a 4 year top 50 university with above a 3.5

I think as long as your GPA is high enough and you’ve taken enough classes to see that you are capable of hard work, you should be fine. Good luck!

Okk thank you and congrats!

@collegebra: I am also very worried! I applied originally as a statistics major but then changed it to chemistry… I have a 3.7 and enough ec’s i believe. i thought my essay was decent but now i’m really worried i haven’t heard anything! seems like you’re in good shape though. when did you submit yours?

anyone know when the next wave is? have they started sending out denials?

@futurehokiebrah: where do you see that you were granted financial aid?

@rottenapples Once you sign into your app status and click on Application information, theres a hokies bird above proccesed applications that says You may have financial aid. Then theres 2 links under that that says View financial aid and something else

@rottenapples i submitted everything by feb 1, and i just dont think they would reject a 3.7 or higher it wouldnt make sense you sound like u have a good chance. This whole patience thing sucks
