@jives333 What’s your situation? I think if you are a freshman, you’ll be okay if you tell them. Hopefully you have a good reason?

If you are a sophomore/junior and it was a class crucial to your major, say, one of your labs or math clases (I needed to take Bio 101 and 102, as well as Math for Liberal Arts 1 and 2 to be admitted as a junior transfer). If it was something like that, it could hurt you. Just let them know now. Best of luck!

I just called Tech admissions to make sure they have seen my midterm grades (I got an email requesting them) and they said it didn’t look like there has been a decision made for me yet :(

@hokiebai I’m in the same situation. I called yesterday and the lady from the admissions office said that my application was still being reviewed. She said that I might know sometime in April. I’m getting worried :(

For everyone still waiting for Hokie birds, there is still a whole other month for evaluation of applications. I’m not sure exactly how they decide on order for application review, but just because you haven’t heard or haven’t gotten the bird yet doesn’t mean you’re not going to get in.

@scoobielover I feel so impatient! I know there are still two whole waves but I’m going crazy! @LSienkiewicz no, unfortunately I have not gotten the hokie bird yet…soon hopefully

I got my financial aid today- I got the bird last Friday, and now they’ve updated my page, in case anyone was wondering how long that took… I guess you can expect it to take a week. My transfer credits aren’t done yet though. It’s gonna be a few more weeks. :)

Oh- well I mean the page changed and it had those two links about financial aid. I’ve not gotten a letter or official acceptance, but the Hokie is an acceptance anyways, so I’m not worried.

for everybody that has the bird on their app status page, has anything changed? ive had the bird for about a week and a half but there is no update, everything has remained the same.

Has anyone had any activity on their page that received the bird in the last two weeks?
